Adolescent Program (Ages 13-17)

Adolescent Program

Are you, or a young person in your life, experiencing emotional distress, behavioural challenges, or difficulty in coping with life's demands? Our Adolescent Mental Health Program, tailored for ages 13-17, is here to help.

Adolescence is a time of immense growth, change, and sometimes, struggle. Our program understands these unique challenges and offers a compassionate, supportive environment to foster resilience and emotional growth.

Our Approach

We utilize a blend of evidence-based therapies, customized to meet the needs of each adolescent. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, to name a few.

CBT helps adolescents understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, fostering healthier patterns. DBT provides skills in four key areas: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Mindfulness practices cultivate a greater awareness and acceptance of present-moment experiences.

Your Path to Emotional Health

Our program includes individual therapy, group sessions, and family involvement, recognizing the importance of supportive relationships in adolescent development. We focus on building skills to navigate emotional ups and downs, manage stress, communicate effectively, and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

We're committed to empowering adolescents to understand their emotions, develop self-confidence, and lead fulfilling lives. Through this journey, they'll gain valuable skills and insights that will serve them into adulthood.
